Emerson Park Academy on Twitter

Emerson Park Academy has a well-represented and active PTA which has been running since February 2010. The PTA has raised funds through numerous events including quiz nights, pamper/shopping events, tribute nights, raffles and providing refreshments. These pages will keep you up to date on latest information on recent activities, forthcoming events and fundraising goals and totals as well as giving you access to key PTA documentation.

If you would like to become more involved with the PTA or would like to contact us please send an email to pta@emersonparkacademy.org, speak to the school office or look out for us at school events. The best way to keep in touch with the PTA is to join our mailing list where we can inform you of meetings and forthcoming events. We also make use of our noticeboards outside and inside the Academy, GroupCall (mobile texts) and ParentMail (email) to get key messages to you.

You can also ‘like’ us on Facebook – just search for Emerson Park Academy PTA pages – it’s the best way to keep informed of forthcoming events.

PTA Committee

The PTA is very well supported but is always looking for new helpers and volunteers.   Whatever your level of support, be it regularly helping out to just putting your hand in your pocket at the raffles, we appreciate your support. Committee changes for 2015/2016:

Tracey Thompson – Chairperson/Secretary
Daryl Anderson – Treasurer
We also have a large selection of regular volunteers who help out as much as they can, sometimes it’s just one event a year, sometimes it’s more than that. If you’d like to join the PTA just let the school office know or message us on Facebook.
Our Fundraising Goal

Over the years we have contributed in many ways:

  • £10,000 (50%) towards the new school mini-bus
  • New curtains and décor in the main hall
  • Printing equipment for the Art Department
  • Interactive babies for health and social
  • Piano for the music department
  • New floodlighting for the outdoor pitches
  • Prizes towards World Book Day
  • Costumes for productions
  • First issue of the new school newsletter

Our latest activities are to raise money for Project Paperback – a project to redesign and renovate the school library into a modern, chilled and relaxing environment for the pupils. We aim to raise £11,000 by the Summer of 2016 to contribute 50% towards this important refurbishment.
