Statistics is a fascinating subject with dozens of uses in our everyday life. Through different surveys and experiments we can learn a lot about our world. Statistics is an exciting field about the thrill of discovery, learning, and challenging your assumptions. Statistics facilitates the creation of new knowledge.

Today, statistics is increasingly becoming important in a number of professions, and people from all walks of life actively use statistics. It is our purpose to make lessons as reachable, stimulating and enjoyable with engaging activities and challenging tasks to inspire all pupils throughout the course.

Statistics goals are for all pupils to:

develop the statistical skills needed for their everyday life;

develop a positive attitude towards statistics, including confidence, enjoyment and perseverance;

work both independently and cooperatively;

develop an appreciation of the role of statistics in society;

achieve their full potential in examinations.
