Recommendations for sustainable provision.

From Monday 7th October a group of pupils will be participating in a Romanian course. This includes learning Romanian language, literature, culture and civilisation. Pupils will receive diplomas issued by the Romanian Cultural Institute and the Romanian Ministry of National Education.

We have access to the Learning Village, which is an award-winning blended learning resource to teach EAL and low level literacy through the image of language instruction for learners of any proficiency and native language.

During the summer term, we held a transition day for our new Year 7 EAL pupils where they were invited to the Academy and participated in taster lessons, socialising and creative activities.
