This year we have taken the decision to hold our Year 9 Options Evening on 9th March 2023.  The Options evening will offer Year 9 pupils and parents the opportunity to explore the optional subjects open to our pupils and the Academy’s rationale behind our curriculum organisation.  The evening will be divided into two sessions – the first commencing at 5pm and the second commencing at 6pm.  Subjects open to be studied at GCSE will be showcased by colleagues from each faculty and there will be an opportunity for pupils and parents to ask questions discuss courses with subject specialists and pupils who are currently studying them.

As in previous years, a copy of the Options booklet which outlines GCSE courses is available on line.  A paper copy will be issued to all pupils who attend on the evening.  A copy of the Options form to be submitted can also be found at the back of the booklet or online.
